My Story is typical of a "Baby Boomer". Moved from Northern Ontario (34 years ago) to a small city in the South. Once our Family was raised and gone, My Wife retired from the Hospital and we moved to a quiet Village in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Because of my "upbringing" in N.O. I have always enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and the Great Outdoors. While my Daughter was growing up I became involved with Scouts Canada.. took part in a lot of Canoe Camps and tried to teach as much as possible to the Youth in our Group but, when my Daughter went to University, I left S.C.
Now, I run my own Small Business out of our House and treat everyday like I am Semi-retired. Still hunt and Fish as much as possible but living where we are now has reminded me that " if there is a disaster, no matter what type or how small, we have to be able to fend for ourselves". So, I am getting started... One Step At A Time.
