Hi everyone. New to prepping, new to the boards here.
I'm pretty confident about my ability to ride out a short term disaster or problem, and way less confident about my plans for getting out of dodge if it ever comes to that. Which is why I'm here, partly - to get some ideas for longer-term planning from folks who know what they're doing.
I'm actually intrigued by the idea of actually *meeting* other preppers, but a bit paranoid about it as well. We'll see.
In any case, this looks like a good place for information and networking, so I'm glad I found it! 🙂
Oh, a bit about myself: I live in an urban area, I have some unique skills that will be very useful if the S ever HTF, I am single and prepping from a solitary perspective. I am rapidly realizing that even though I'm single and have no kids, I need to think about more than myself when it comes to this stuff.
Thanks everyone for the opportunities for learning and sharing. As cheesy as that sounds, haha. 🙂
Greetings from the central interior.
I'm single as well, but my two cats look after me very well 🙂
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.
Welcome Urbanprepper and greetinngs from Northern Ontario.
