Just doped in to say hi and tell you a little about my self I am 66 retired and a outdoors man. I hunter, fished, and Trapped most of my life. I sold my home and bought a Motor Home And spent 7 yrs. traveling around the US and Canada. Living full time as a Gypsy. But as they say all good things must come to an end. 🙂 I Stopped my traveling around the country and came back to Canada and Got Married and started to settle down,
One thing that I have learned from all my travels in the USA and Canada, YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF. The Gov. will not.
I lived in the back country of Quebec during the 98 ice storm I was off the grid for 48 days but I had everything I needed to survive
So I was a Preppier way back then

Hi Hunter. Welcome from Eastern Ontario. I haven't travelled extensively like you. Just stayed right here making my home. I also was here for the ice storm but only was without electricity for 3 weeks. It gave me a good lesson on preparing for the 'Y2k' thing and some other emergencies I've experienced. I look forward to hearing from you sharing your stories...
