😉 GREAT SITE, HAVE SEVERAL "bug out sites" FROM 15 MINUTES TO 1 1/2 HOURS DRIVE FROM HOME.HARD TO FIND/GET TO. LOTS OF COVER,FRESH WATER ,GAME AND FISH.HAVE SEVERAL FOOD AND"other necessary" SURVIVAL ITEMS WHICH GET USED AND REPLACED TWICE A YEAR. ALMOST RETIRED. BEEN PREPPING SINCE THE CUBAN MISSLE CRISES. FROM POWER OUTAGES TO THE CHINESE ARMED INVASION( coming as sure as the mega quake) WHICHEVER COMES FIRST,I,M READY. N.N.

I too agree with you that the Chinese are coming as sure the sun rises. The only thing I am not sure of is when.
I have been preparing along with my wife to be ready, willing and able to deal with what comes.
I may not have been prepping as log as you but i do remember the Cuban missile crisis and when Kennedy was not taking some young woman to bed he did have his hand on the button and we could easily have had a nuclear holocaust back then but thankfully cooler minds prevailed.
Now as China’s population grows and other countries want to see the “Great Satan” on its knees the threat once again is on the horizon and we preppers may be the only ones who are able to deal with it.
Anyway, enough expounding - even though I am not from the Island I just wanted to say hi and welcome and I look forward to what you have to say.

I do not believe the Chinese are coming. The possible event we're prepping for is global. How do you think a few billion Chinese are going to come over here when they have no food. Currently, the Chinese government figures are over 130,000 insurrecctions a year. Unsure what they qualify as an insurrection though. Poking your finger in the local party boss may be counted. If we have three days of food do you think they have more? The grid goes down and they will look for food, not catch a Disney cruise ship for Vancouver Island. (Where I live) Some isolated units MAY sneak over here, but I seriously doubt it would be a major invasion. Those units would be unsupported logistically and may be clser to armed and organized refugees than invaders.
The answer to any type of an invasion would be to let the Yanks know the ChiComms are now their neighbours and the Yanks will do the rest. Trust me. Nobel Peace prize means Jack down there.
