Helicopilot...yes those are red currant!They are high in vitamin C, and go well with both other berries and fruits, such as raspberries and strawberries. They also go well with goose, venison, lamb. I'm so excited for you and your family! It looks amazing there!!! Nice set up-just alittle personalizing or tweaking and your set!
Our garden started beautifully until the hail and weather switch occurred. It produced better than we thought it would with that crazy weather. Even with that horrible growing year, we managed to get about 100 good sized potatoes out of each raised bed and my carrots were pretty good as well. My squash and zuc flowers were destroyed by hail and sibyl weather so production was small. My greens are always successful. Cabbages were great but the cauliflower and broccoli underwhelming. It's good to see what can be accomplished even in a crap year.
Well...next year will be another opportunity!
