Looking to see if any preppers in or around Nelson, Castlegar area interested in trading skills. I am really interested in some one with good skills in plant i.d. and uses. I was a U.S. Marine and can teach what I know and self defense As well as bushcraft skills. My plant I.d. needs help I am unfamiliar with most of the local vegetation. Let me know if interested in trading skills.

Dear husband and I are in the Kootenays also. We are in "the Valley", part way between Nelson and Castlegar!
After you have three posts, you can PM me and we can talk further. Seems like we share the same interests.

Winers here are very survivable, quite unlike Sask, and Alberta.
