We are in a city that is on lake superior but isolated from any major city. 10 hrs. to Winnipeg and 12 to Sault st Marie. Lots of natural recourses and a strong farming community.
There is a thread with NWO preppers. They have been talking but I'm not sure if they have met yet.

I couldn't find the section for NW Ontario and though I did find chatter in Sudbury section, I consider that really down south. Since this Thunder Bay thread is started(and well within the NW), I'll add my "howdy" here. I'm 300 miles west of you and there isn't much or Ontario left from here until your in Manitoba.
I grew up on the Minnesota border, so you can probably guess where that was. I'm out in AB now but hope this thread picks up some steam. I'd love to retire on Lake of the Woods or Rainy Lake some day... long way off, of course LOL.
