Greetings, I am 39, My name is Edward. I have been prepping full time for several years now, but i come from a military brat background. I am a life scout, as well as being in a troop that had a serious contengent of eagle scout graduations during the time (my father was the scout leader -29 years USNretired). In addition to several skills including mechanical, electrical, id term myself to be a jack of all trades, master of none. I have a prepared BOV and BOB, i have a EDC at all times, i follow the one is none and two is one rule, as well as the boyscout plus one rule.
I have a few hobbies, from leather, to metal working, to carpentry, lapidary, i used to do renassaince reneactment (SCA), i do mascotting (includes costume making) I have built my my BOV, a converted E350 van for 30-60 day standalone prep. Looking to make some connections and get some more active life for myself and family. Nice to meet you.
Welcome to the forum. I lived in Winnipeg for a year. If the weather is still as bad as it was that winter, that is enough reason to be prepared.
