Good Day Everyone
I am very happy and pleased to see there are Canadians prepping! ive been at er for about 3 years now, and it seemed all the info i was getting was from Americans. It was beginning to feel quite lonely! I am from NS, and would love to connect with local preppers for exactly that 🙂

Hello,

Just joining you from a little north of Huntsville, On. Not prepping for anything specific, I just figure it will never hurt to have extra necessities if anything from job lose, bad weather, to man made disasters happen. I've read enough history to know you can never be certain what happens tomorrow and it's usually the people with the best resources and the least population strain who fair the best.

Look forward to learning and offering up any worthy thoughts I may have 🙂

A big hello from Kingston, Ontario. I've only been here for a year, after several years overseas. At 123,000, Kingston is about as big a population center as I'd care to be living in. I'm hoping it's also central enough for me to search in several directions for some cheap rural land. (I've owned land at various times in the past.) I'm basically a writer. On Oct. 26, 2013 (i.e. very soon) my new book will be published by Insomniac Press in London, Ontario: Tumbling Tide: Population, Petroleum, and Systemic Collapse. It's available at Amazon. (I may have just hit my "personal plugs: limit.) I also run my own blog. I'll soon be heading for Germany, which has a remarkable number of "preppers." So I keep busy.

Hello to all the preppers out there 😀

A quick introduction:
On the internet I go by the name of Luna, I am 22 years old, from Germany, and one of the rare examples of female prepper 😉
Why I prep: So far I have just been in too many dangerous situations (snowstorms, -30°C winters , a tornado, floods etc.etc. ... so basically I attract danger XD) and I chose not to have this anymore. I wanted to be prepared and strong for whatever may be out there in the future.
I have been prepping on my own now for about a year and I focus mainly on natural desasters with no electricity, running water, a shattered environment and in the end maybe social collapse. Most of my friends think I go overboard with even thinking about this, but my motto is to be prepared, because you never know.
Also I think that because I might see some other problems arise as my male collegues, or go at things differently, which could be nice to exchange knowledge about 😀

All in all I hope I can learn some more on here and improve my ways of securing my home and my family.

Hi there,
Iam a Newbie, from newfoundland. Welll not really new............ been at this since. Hmmmmm since 1947. Yes I was camping when I was a year old. Husky Shut up!!

Camping for me covers all seasons, and not weather permitted. I have learned survival in ways that most will never get on a cert. From dog sledding, to on foot in 15 ft of snow. To watching the bear scratching his A$$ on the tree I am hiding in.To sitting in the middle of the sea jigging for cod, and watching the humpback while go by. For those who dont know I am Gypsy_wanderer_Huskys, father. Hence the reason she was told to shut up.

We have lived in every province, other then BC,Quebec,NB. But have traveled, and camped through them all. Hope to get to know you all, and build a family here with you all.

Crow.
