Hello from Drayton Valley Alberta!
Greetings from Sicamous B.C.
Just joined the network hoping to find others that recognize the importance of being prepared.
Hello to everyone ... This is Time2Move I am a new member to this group. I have been learning about prepping and came across this website. Welcome, "Time2Move"... there are a few groups in a formative stage. It's probably good to know of your general area or intended location if/when you choose. Search "community", and feel free to PM if you prefer.
cheers, ....villager
Hi everyone vancouver island prepper here. Looking forward to joining the forum
Hello fellow preppers. I am not new to the idea of prepping. But I am taking my first serious steps to prepping for my family. I am happy to find that I am not the only Canadian who feels we are running out of time before SHTF.
Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Hello Villager ! thanks for your reply ... ( Don't know if this will PM you or post or if I even have the privilege yet as I am very new to this site ) This message is from Time2Move. In response to your comment, I am from western Canada ( Saskatchewan & Alberta ) and have been living in Montreal for a few years and am moving to Winnipeg. For now, have to go where work takes me. My wife was originally from Manitoba. We like many parts of Canada and we want to move from urban life to an affordable community and a lifestyle that we are both looking forward to.
I would appreciate any help guiding me through this site and certainly don't mind if someone is willing to PM me. I will try to respond right away. We are sorting what we can bring and packing up. You see Time2Move has a double meaning, 1st to Manitoba with my work, and then to a community we can be passionate about and share our knowledge skills and learn new ones.
I don't know where you are from either, so appreciate that you suggested I say where I am. Maybe others will contact me too.
Hope to hear back from you. Take care
Hello everybody

Hello all. Introducing myself from Campbell River, BC. Very interested in getting to know all you forward thinking people and contributing where I can. I am working on creating an off grid, prepper community of 150 people here on Vancouver Island, and will be needing members. Will need all manor of talent related to off grid living in a small community setting, as well as software developers, etc. (to allow us to help others to follow). Additionally, I'm a hobby inventor and have come up with a very low cost and roomy alternative to the tiny house movement. In my mind, an extremely low cost, non permanent structure is very important for the movement because it will allow a much wider group to follow us into this new lifestyle. It's certainly quite a time to be alive, and I'm very excited to have found you... and I hope there will others who feel the same way about finding me.

Ave & hail imperator abyssus verus existio ut Selassie. Im a traditional mid 20's Nyahbinghi Rastafarian prepper who is based here in New Zealand, crown of the pacific. I have been prepping like many people for the reasons of for the betterment of mankind and preservation of integrity. I am currently composing an article to my people {Rastafarians} about the the benefits of preparedness, survival-ism and prepping in general. Just for me i love prepping because i find it relaxing, knowing how to grasp certain situations, knowledge of the gear to relieve a situation and analyzing certain situations like natural or man made disasters or crises .Knowledge is truly key to success especially prepping. I hope and anticipate that in the near future, people and humanity in itself will understand the nature/s, habits and behaviors of preppers, that the typecast portrayed by films, media is grossly exaggerated, preppers are not paranoid egomaniacs who fantasize about destruction and guns and finally that even humanity should have faith in being prepared. Many thanks for the site, Laus Rastafari quod ago vomica Him quod intereo Haile EGO Imperator validus ego gratulor panton, Selah!!!
😀 hello everyone iam new to prepping and i live in Fredericton NB . so looking forward to all advice
Hello from Ottawa, Ontario. I'm not familiar with posting on boards so I hope this works.
I've been practicing emergency preparedness for almost 2 years now. My husband calls me a prepper but I'm certainly not as organized nor as prepared as those people I've seen online (and TV) who identify themselves with that word (wow, those people have it together!). Can't say I'm a "newbie" either, as I'm certainly more prepared now that I was two years ago but I still have much to learn, and even more to actually do!
I'm glad to be here online to share information with others who have the same interest. It would be really nice to be able to communicate with others about this. I learned everything I know from the Internet, oh, and some things by trial and error (yikes).
I'm also hoping to find and attend some type of meeting in my area as it would really be encouraging to meet others in person.
Well, I have some questions that I haven't been able to find the answers to via google search (or YouTube), so I'm off to browse this site to see where I can post a question....
Good luck to all!
Hi Everyone
Live in the Comox Valley and look forward to sharing preparedness with all of you.
