Hi, my friend reminded me of this forum a few days ago, decided to drop. I'm sorry to see you've been hit by spammers. I'm not new to "prepping", it's part of my culture, but it's not the kind of topic you bring up with most people, so it's nice to be able to read through forums like this one and maybe contribute.
Hello friends,
Due to the spam outbreak, I decided this would be a good time to break ice.
I've been preparing for the worst & hoping for the best for a few years now. With a limited budget, I find preparing to be a large & often daunting task, so I approach it a lot like eating an elephant; one small bite at a time 🙂
I wish I could offer more input, but my knowledge level is novice at best, so I'd like to thank all the experts who post such great stuff here.
Cheers!

Welcome aboard.
English Montrealer here, glad to see other like-minded preppers.
Hi everyone.
New member looking for homestead in interior BC.
Hi everyone. I'm still wearing a sheeple mask but inside I'm uneasy, to say the least. I have learnt a unique manual skill (shoe making, some leather clothing), besides giving a go to my green thumb. Now, I would like to find a community where I could be useful. I doubt that Lower Mainland area (BC) would be a place to be. Thus, I'm open to suggestions. My idea is cash out from my well-paid job and find a place in a water-rich region with good soil - I have some ideas where to go, but I'd appreciate pointers to some good places, people.
hello everyone, long time lurker first time on here as a member. hope to learn lots from you folks
Welcome to the forum.
Hello,
My name is Jennifer, and I am very new to the scene. I haven't started prepping yet, mostly because I am on disability and it is difficult to support my family already, lol! I would like to begin preparing, so I've begun by doing research. My plan is to build my knowledge base as much as possible first, and gather what information I can (survival strategies, first aid/medical info, basic farming and water purification instructions, and the like).
It is my hope that by doing this, I will be able to prioritize my needs when it comes down to actually purchasing things. Any tips or resources you may know of (i.e. websites or downloadable content) would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! Happy prepping!
Jenn
