Hello from Camrose, AB, Canada

Slowly prepping here. This year I have even started planning for a garden... I have everything ready to go, just waiting for it to stop snowing. I am going to can all of the produce I can grow this year.
With things the way they are in the ME and in Europe, I can easily see something in the near future hitting home..
Love the videos and gear information.
I definitely look forward to learning more.

I prep for my daughters, for they are our future.
I prep for the short and long term. Everyday I strive to learn something new.
I prep for community. For in the long run each of us need one another.

Thank you Denob and Farmgal for the warm welcome.

Yes Farmgal I have a few things on the go, there is always something to prep. It is better to over plan for all types of situations then to fall short when it is needed.
I look forward to collecting as much information from this website and it's awesome peole.
Plus I had a friend visit and I showed the website and she is stoked...

Hello from Camrose, AB, Canada

That is a good area, are you in the city or rural? I go to that city sometimes, the restore has good deals, and it has the only lumber yard that stocks 5/8 4x8 Baltic birch plywood for a reasonable price.

Hello Peppercorn,

I am in the outskirts of the city.. I love the restore, there are so many possibilities. If you have checked it out yet you should really go to the Centrecam store..

I know that is where I am going for some of not canning goods.
