Hello everyone, I am from a small town in So. Central Texas. I have been doing food storage for about 4 years and am starting to get into dehydration. The prepping started about 1 year ago and it is addicting! I will probably be asking a lot of advice but I might have some to share, on Food Storage especially. 😀

Thanks for the warm welcome. Prepping can seem like such a lonely endeavor. It's nice to know that there is a community.

Thank you.

🙂 Greetings PortAlberniPrepper. I'm pretty new here too, and I agree with you...prepping can seem like a lonely endeavor at times so it's great to have like minded folk supporting each other.

Hi evryone. Just joined the sight today. I am retired U.S. Army and living in Germany for at least the next nine months, depending where they send my wife (Army) next. I am going to try to get a Prepper group going on post near by.

Hey there coming from the big city toronto just started getting into prepping working on my b.o.b i came to this site because i believe that being independent would not be the best thing and could probably learn alot here and connect with other preppers in my area considering i fell like i get shunned when i talk about it to someone on the street

Hello from Ottawa Canada 🙂 well I'm just a beginner prepper and have been looking for a Canadian site and found you. Hopefully there are others in the Ottawa area, it would be awesome to meet with others around here and fins some good Canadian stores to buy stuff. I have been reading a lot a survivalist forum and hope to one day be that organised.

Cheers! 😉

Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found this group!
After the hurricane back east and recent earthquakes in British Columbia, our family decided it's time to face reality and get prepared. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!
I'm blogging our process of getting prepared over the coming year. It will be great to be able to talk about things and learn from others here in this network.
I am hoping there are other people here who are from the West Coast and who are experienced/have insights about getting ready for earthquakes. I am on southern Vancouver Island, in Victoria BC. It seems like a lot of people here assume that it is going to happen, but aren't really doing any preparation. Well, that was me too, until a couple of weeks ago!
Looking forward to getting to know you.
Cheers,
Kate
