Katie,

Seek out wookie. He is Up Island from you, but a knowledgeable prepper. Not sure how the preppers in the Vic area are doing, in regards to meeting up and doing group planning. Being in Viictoria you could just drop by Ocean River Sports and get rigged up with some seaworthy kayaks and paddle away from any trouble headed your way.

Welcome. Ask your questions, and knowledgeable folks will answer. If you ask for opinions, everyone will answer, lol.

Cheers,

Mountainman.

A new, new members introduction thread? Count me in. 😀

I'm RabbitTeeth, newbie to the forum (under 30 posts), currently prepped for about 2 weeks of disaster, but looking to bump that up to 8 weeks. Good to meet (and re-meet) you all. 🙂

Hi all,

Been looking for a site like this one for sometime. Found it, happy to part of this membership, I'm quite concerned about being prepared for the worst and have been building my survival kit for the last seven months. Always's looking for additional information and proven methods for survival. Also happy to learn there's a place I can find the latest world and/or local events that may reflect future disasters effecting Canada and it's Peoples. Quite concerned with where are neighbors may be headed with their 16 trillion dollar debt and possible economic calapse. We're right next door..

Hello everybody,
Like many others have posted, im glad I am not the only one here in Nova Scotia preparing for the worst. I currently live in Dartmouth and have recently begun stocking supplies and working on valuable skill sets to survive, people cannot do this alone so groups working together with diverse skill sets are sure to survive over any individual, unless your like the hermit of gully lake lol. Anyways im happy to be part of the group anybody can PM me anytime.

New member from the Hamilton area. Open to learning and sharing. I see an inevitable collapse due to unsustainable growth and a monetary system that requires growth to work. It's just a matter of when. More than anything however, why wouldn't I prep? Kinda of silly not to be prepared. Lets see: Drought, flood, hurricane, earthquake, faminie, war, disease, power outage, fire, riot, tsunami, economic collapse, resource depletion, water contamination, water depletion, food scarcity, revolution, nuclear catastrophe, etc, etc, These things happen to other people. We're morons to think we live in a safety vacuum where no bad can happen. I'd rather be prepared just in case. It doesn't hurt and it sure as hell can help. Cheers.

Hi all,

I'm a Canadian born, UK raised prepper. After 25 years on this odd little island, it's time for me to come home to Canada. I've stopped by here to make contact with like-minded folks, share some of the skills and knowledge we've learned along the way and hopefully begin the process of forming or joining a community.

See you around the forum! 😉

Why Hello Ms. Pearl /// I have been following you personal blog (as well as several others) in the shadows for quite some time now /// Have finally decided to step out & put a voice to myself & am happy to now be a contributor /// I hope the recent flood of new members (myself amongst those numbers) equates to eyes wide open & willingness to speak up and share our communal knowledge given our accelerated state of global affairs /// While I don't want to say the end is nigh, one would have to agree things are getting pretty shaken up as of late...

Keep Safe - Twenty3rdPsalm
