I learned a good bit from this.....A good dog and axe are invaluable. I have the axe, the dog is questionable.

This seems almost exactly like the film, also called Happy People: A Year in the Taiga directed by Werner Herzog. It was forrmerly available on Netflix. I think the Herzog version is a trimmed down film for festivals and the such. I had no idea there was an original series 4 hours long!
