I found this a interesting talk.

My own personal method for dealing with police asking questions.

True story...I think it was 2008 (maybe 2007), leaving Sea Tac airport in Washington. I had completely forgot that I was carrying a knife in my jacket pocket, just skipped my mind. I take off my jacket and throw it on the conveyer for the x ray machine like normal and this lady running the machine says whats in there,in the pocket? I say nothing..nothing is in the pocket, what is it? she barks back, and I notice a twirly red flashing light going off above her station and at the same time I notice the light I can see two guys running over towards me from my right, with one guy coming up along side me and the other right in my face. They are starting to ask me questions, but they can see I am in a partial body cast and using a cane ( healing from my last truck accident) So the x ray lady brings the knife over to the two guys holding me up and as soon as I seen the knife I realized what I had done.
I explained as best I could that I had just forgot to put it in the check in luggage. They check me out, and seeing as I was busted up and traveling with two women they understood I didnt fit a profile that concerned them. I had to forfeit the knife, but they let us on the plane...they did swab down my cast checking for explosive residue.

Give a man a gun, and he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he can rob the world.
