I was surfing the web and low and behold I stumbled across a blog from a tiny home couple, and I recognised their little home. I had seen, and been in it at the 2017 spring home and garden show. (last one I will go to, do to rip off pricing!!) https://edmontiny.wordpress.com/

interesting feature are the perfectly verticial panels mounted on the wall of the structure, smart doing some like that. snow wont stick, and the angle will give you maximum power when you need it most, during the winter months.Other panels above these are not as steep but still nearly so. this is perfect for Edmonton. They will still have unlimited power to burn through spring summer and fall and still very good production through the winter.

Pretty cool. I was surprized by the fact that even without wood heat available, the hot water circulation system sustained a liveable (but likely colder than desired) environment. Quite an adventuresome young couple...

None you improvise, one (or more) is luxury.
