That is superb for a secure stashed dry long term storage hidden in plain sight . What did you put in the jars and did you use one of those vacuum sealing systems on your jars ?

I put flour, corn meal, corn startch, smaller ones have brown sugar, dried powdered egg, dried soup mixes...and if I can think of anything else I will post later

my barley and sugar is put in 2 liter pop bottles

No sealing system you have to tap tap tap and tap mor get all the air out and fill as high as you can...I have used all the above mentioned jarred 2005 and as fresh as the day it went in

I FREEZE EVERYTHING FOR A WEEK OR LONGER, THEN BRING TO ROOM TEMP BEFORE I CAN..emphasis on this it gets rid of the larva on dried foods...

I am very impressed, that is very nicely executed. I had that idea before and stacked cans in an unfinished wall but we never had enough extra that we did not need access to rotate it out as we needed groceries .

all my 2012 are in one wall...all the 2013 are going into the new wall I am doing..anything that needs to be rotated is in 2 closests...the dressers have a variety because they are easy accessible ...

like I said in another thread my house has every nook and cranny filled....Its a preppers house that for sure

anything that was bought and put in walls was new stuff, when I was working I would go straight from work with my tips and buy what I needed to fill the walls..now that I left that job I am catching up on all the things I did not have time to do...
