Homelessness isn't generally on the radar of most preppers outside of a bug out plan, yet homelessness is a very likely result of an economic crash. Because of this, one of my hobbies is an interest in mobile housing. I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite DIY genius's. Paul Elkins

This would also be good as a security post so you didn't have to leave your security watch out in the elements.

I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.

excellent, but I like the 4 sheet yellow shelter better. It's on his website. Thankyou for passing this on!

Looks just like the ice hut my dad built years ago. Base was 2 metal toboggans side by side to tow behind the snow machine, rest was used paneling glued to 1" styro sheet.

While I love alternative shelter designs, if you don't own land you will not be allowed to keep shelters like this up. If you do own land, you can build what you want with the right permits.

Homeless people don't have access to many tools and materials so the design they use is highly dependent on what they can find.

Homeless is related to job loss, job loss should be the #1 event people prepare for (or #2 because health concerns can eliminate your job).

Why did I join Canadian Preppers Network?
Well I was going to join the UK Network but those bloody Brits don't know how to speak proper English! 😉
