hello we are in Dartmouth, and we are very interested in being able to survive it when SHTF. she is self sufficient and able to adapt to every condition and knows that little details can make the difference.
he is former law enforcement , former executive security, survival trainer, and activist. we both have a loss of income due to health problems otherwise we would be in our own land and making our own group.
he has trained in all aspects of weather survival IE. artic indoctrination, and has been a hunter for years.
we would love to have a community already involved in a self sufficient group to survive . we both know things have been happening in the plain sight of everyone and only a few really see it.
please contact us .

we would love to at least make contact. :ugeek:

Hello imgone:
Welcome.
I understand being subject to physical disability and because of that unable to be where you hoped and wanted to be.
With your background, which sounds quite a bit like mine, you should be able to bring a wealth of knowledge and information to the site.
I wish you nothing but success and look forward to reading more posts from you.
Smile, you're among friends.

I think that we both , will be able to help any group , and perhaps . if none has room, we can start on something. All I know is The only reason why Im getting healthier , is to survive. It's scarey how many people are not aware , of the problems.
and we have been feeling secluded. even in the city. because of it.
we are the odd man out. so we dont talk about it to anyone anymore.

thanks all for the welcome.

I seriously doubt that you are " the odd man out". You identified an issue, joined a website and, unlike most, posted your thoughts and feelings. Great keep it up! Everyone's opinion is valid here and each post is of equal value. So continue to post any subject that you feel passionate about or any subject that you have an opinion on. That is we all grow together.

Hi there,

I also live in Nova Scotia, near Mahone Bay/Bridgewater/Lunenburg and am attempting to do all of it on my own.

It would be fabulous to have someone to talk to as I also find it necessary to keep things to myself. Any time I have tried to bring my concerns up, people think I'm a crazy person, so conversations with like-minded people would be a treat!

Track me down at barbspawprints at yahoo dot com and we can say hello.

Welcome Holistic and greetings from Northern Ontario. You may want to edit your post so that your email is not shown as a direct link. With all the Google bots around you might end up getting a lot of spam.

Hi,

I'm also a newbie. I recently met cernunnos5, and got introduced to the prepper movement.

Interested in connecting with other preppers in NS, especially in the Halifax area. My plan has been to homestead (within the next 1-2 years) and may now include a defense agenda. Thinking of joining a gun club and looking for any feedback on local clubs and types of firearms I might consider purchasing. I realize prepping involves much more than guns, such as food storage, shelter, survival skills, but this is something I can start immediately and develop a new skill.

Thanks all.
