Awesome job, you really built it sturdy, so what are the sizing in side, and do you need to worry about predators in those lovely but close looking woods?
Did you make a different size for your buck then your does and grow out pens or did you do the same size for all? What bread of rabbits? Do you keep back and use the hides?
Should consider also posting this in the farming section of the forum, sure that lots of them would be interested as well 🙂

Thanks Farmgal. I made them 2 feet by 4 feet, the floor is 3 feet from the ground. No predators in the woods that I know of. I made the does and the bucks the same size I plan to make another about 2 feet by 8 feet for when the babys are born. The breed is Californian. I don't keep any of the hides I don't know how to do anything with them.
Nice job! Good and sturdy. Im humming and hawing about whether you should paint it....because of chewing. We all know how NS weather is hard on wood. A big metal roof might help it from decomposing too fast. All the best.
I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.
I paint the outside wood of my hutches but not the inside the tin roof is a excellent idea, or you can give it a slight slant and paint then to and it will last years that way.

For sure, you can clean up the birthing house, yup, yup, they are looking good, what are their weights?

I don't know what their weights are, I have know way to weigh them.
I just use the kitchen scale and stick them in a bowl.. I have both a battery scale that does really fine calulations for my soap making and I have a non battery for basic's, I think I might have paid 10 dollars for it 15 years ago or so and its still going strong.
I was going to ask butcher weights when the time comes, maybe you will have a scale at that point or not?
