..."Does July 5th at Victoria Park, Truro sound good to those who'd like a meet-up? If the weather is good, we could all just show up with our picnic lunches around noon near the bandstand..." (grandma)
Hey folks. Sorry for the short notice, (me and Mrs C5 just got back from a month in Europe) but I wanted to support "grandma's" meetup, even though we couldn't put something proper like a speaker on, in support. Mrs C5 informed me that a moderate hurricane force storm may hit on saterday... Soooo, I thought I would throw in that triple redundancy plan. Personally, Ild show up in my storm gear if necessary...But...I am going to recommend, If the weather is bad as I suspect, exactly one and a half hours later, we could move it to The Community Coffee Shop on Prince street, near the Super Store (That's 1:30) if its generally icky. The community coffee shop has been closed before when I needed them so if that is the case the Split Crow bar is just a few doors down.
Sounds like a great plan! I've been wondering what the weather will be like on Saturday...so, the Community Coffee shop OR, if that is closed, the Split Crow...hope to see you all then.

Good meetup deff glad I attended for sure just got our power back here
Yes it was. Small group and short meet. I don't think we talked about a single prepper thing. It was more, just people getting to know each other. I liked that. That's how communities grow.
I joked, what an ironic way to die, survivalists driving away from our safety zones and supplies to go to a prepper meet in the middle of a hurricane.

It was indeed short and sweet, but now we can put a face to a couple of like-minded folks.
So when do we get together again for coffee? 😉
