The energy and exuberance of youth, becomes tempered with age, but the wisdom of age is invaluable 🙂
I wish my grandparents were still around. Being homesteaders, they really had tons of knowledge! For them, losing power for months on heads would have been mere inconvenience. My grandma had the biggest and nicest garden I could ever imagine and my grandpa could fix anything(ok, anything without a computer in it...). They knew how to raise and butcher all sort of animals... Without knowing it, they were what we try to emulate now.
