I guess its time to play Alpha Smurf and show off why I have been so busy. There is a BC hippy saying. "He who smokes pot in the sunshine cuts firewood in the rain". I think we need a Prepper Equivalent like, "He who plays paintball and goes on camping trips and calls that prepping...will eat in soup kitchens and homeless shelters when the collapse doesn't work out as planned". Well, you cant say that I am not consistent.
This is where I am at so far....and the summer is far from over. I have so much more to do. Winter is coming.

Great slideshow, your garden area has sure grown and your solar array is impressive ! I only got two chicks from my hens this year too, there is an art to managing broody hens I have not figured out yet . Why is your mobile chicken mobile immobile ?
I am impressed. You have been busy.

Nice vid... holy crap man, you HAVE been busy!
Hey C5, excellent! ... that prepper dude in the garden... is he single???
In case you didn't read my annoying questions on the other thread, here's what I'd like to know?
cool!!
About the dugout.
How deep is it?
How steep are the sides?
How did you fill it - rainwater only?
Did you line it with plastic or anything?
Are you going to aerate it?
What about mosquito breeding?
How much did it cost you (if that's not highly confidential)?
Sheeesh, I'm annoyingly nosey!!!martha

Sorry, everyone. Ive been occupied.
The pond is about 10+ft deep, pointy at the bottom for fish to retreat to when frozen. The bottom pond drains from the land. The top pond will only fill when the snow melts . We will see how long it holds. Each pond will cost you about 600$ in Excavator time.
Charlie, out there in the field is a bit distant and his personality is plastic...but damn ruggedly handsome. I may develop a man crush. Im sure you can find someone like him in your local adult store. I may be able to rent him out though...in barter for help harvesting the tomatoes.
