If you're in the Ottawa area, and serious about learning beekeeping, Radical Homestead is about to begin their 2015 mentorship program.
They're nice folks, their lesson plan seems quite detailed, and you don't just learn what to do - you get right in there and do it. They even help you set up 2 hives of your own to take over in year 2.
