Fog Nets are a reality and can be used to tap water direct from the largest sustainable source of water, "Cloud/ Fog/ Mist" which is all in the same DAM which nature has provided without consuming more valuable arrable land.
Fog Nets have been researched over the past 100 years with limited success as most nets were made of lightweight materials which did not withstand the high winds and other climatic conditions.
A new material tested in South Africa has been operational for the past 4 years and is doing exceptionally well. This also availed a design change which has made the entire structure more sustainable.
