I got my tomahawk as something fun to do with the family ! Not to defend myself! I have a big bore rifle 300 win mag for something like that or even my 22. Mag if your talking close contact then anything will work ! And and in that case I would use what ever I could. Like I said my kids and wife all Injoy throwing the tomahawk and that why I have them!!
