I heard on the news that there are gas shortages now because of the December ice storm.
Ottawa news reported that some gas stations have signs up telling customers that gas supplies are getting in short supply. Hmmmm, fill up your gas tank.
A few days ago, a lot of gas stations in Thunder Bay and along the north shore of Lake Superior ran out of gas. Others were rationing. It is back to "Normal" now...but they attributed a lot of it to keep larger stockpiles in southern Ontario due to the ice storm and subsequent power outages.
Always good to keep the tank topped up and to have a couple gas cans full as emergency backup.
"Orleans, and other smaller local gas stations did run out of gas, the one place in Orleans had the trucks come three times, and sold them all out, and had to close the pumps as they would not get a fourth truck in to fill the tanks, It was only a day or two and then the station were all back online..
