A neat application of a crank flashlight. They are in the process of raising money, If you donate $50 they will send you one to play with. If they go into full production they should be under $10. Lots of newspaper articles about them and fundraising sites but I could not find any specs for the amount of light produced. If anyone finds them would you post them please.
Neat. Why not expand it? Adapt it for a winch that can take on a heavy load. Your morning workout could supply you with your power needs for the day.
