I have over the years grown a lot of herbs in my garden. You need to take care when using any herb for the first time. More care is needed when you are using it fresh from your garden. Most of the herbs that you can buy in the store have filler and are not at full strength. For those that are looking for medical supplies for after the SHTF, may I suggest planting your own "medicine". However, if you plan on going herb do not wait until the SHTF to try them. Also, I would recommend seeing an herbalist and doctor to discuss your personal needs before trying an herbal remedy.

Here is a list of some of the things that I have grown:
Echinacea
Cayenne
Celery seed ( have it now)
Calendula
Evening primrose oil
Garlic
Ginger
Ginkgo biloba (very tall tree, do not get a female plant the fruit smells like rotting flesh)
Lavender (have now)
Lemon balm (have now)
Licorice (got from Ritchers)
Peppermint
Rosemary (have now)
Sage
Oregano

There are a lot of others that you can grow but I haven't tried growing them yet

edit - the post went a little funky lol

Thats a pretty good mix.

This year so far I have 4 diff kinds of Basil on the go, a Pepermint, a Curry, chives and parsley.

I’ve been planning on going to Richter’s for a while to get some Chamomile, Echinacea and Pineapple mint.
Maybe ill go this wknd.

Hmm, Ginger is a good idea 😉

Have you thought of trying Golden Seal (good medecine)?
