Howdy from the North Bay area
A tried and true member of the school of hard knocks here!!!
Like many out there I have been many places and done many things, all leading me to be the person I am today.
I have only been at the prepping a short while compared to many , I would say I have enough food and supplies for 6 months+ for 1 person
What is my big plan right now is working on 1oil lamps for third light source
2this month a keroseen heater and fuel as a second heat source
3more dried food as apposed to canned that may freeze and so much heavier if you have to BO
4consumables like TP soap razers etc

I also have had a hard time to get family members too listen and to act at all
I am really stumped on what if any thing I can do for my daughter who has been on dialysiss for about 10 years she is my biggest worry
What do I have to offer the community at large
Not only can I hunt and trap but I can skin ,butcher, cook, smoke it. Then I can tan the hides and work the leather
Enough military to handle a fire arm , as well as worked on farms with crops and small animals
Hope yall are well and thanks for reading

Hi Mule Skinner

Good to have you on board.

It's difficult enough to prep but really hard when one you prep for has extra needs. My sister and brother in law are blind and the thing that worries me most is they live in Viriginia. If SHTF I don't know how I'll get to them.

Do you know how to work a dialysis machine? If TSHTF you might have to raid the nearest hospital for one - going to be difficult especially because a hospital is going to be a mess when TSHTF. Anyways, if you don't know how to work one and maintain one maybe a good prep would be to find as much info on that as you can?

It's better to prep for something that may never happen than not prep for something that does.
