It wasn't a bad one I walked right through it. But stock up on aspirin cause you never now. I usually have some in my work van anyways. I guess there are some quick dissolving ones just for that purpose.

A good time to invest in spf3000 if you live on the NK penninsula.

Bandit,

Glad to hear it all worked out ok. The suggested aspirin for cardiac episode is the 81 mg, un coated one. As chewing it hasten the absorption process and as chewing regular aspirin is absolutely awful, may I suggest getting a bottle of flavoured ones (like we used to give to kids before the issue of Reye's syndrome came up)? Those aspirins really are for emergency use and you may want to talk to your doc about daily preventative regimen.

They make some with orange flavour. I've been keeping some in my medical kits for that very reason.

Good to hear you are OK, Bandit! Asprin in the medical supplies is a good idea and something I am working on because my mom takes the daily dose and I want to have it stocked up for her anyway.

That's harsh bandit - stock up and carry on
Look into herbal alternatives as well, Asparin expires, but your herb garden doesn't. Some good examples are keeping your diet "acid-low" so your blood doesn't become too acidic and eventually toxic, stay away from milk...period, use virgin olive oil when cooking meats to help draw the fat out and keep your diet low in fats/trans-fats (but not too low, you need to process it into sugar if you have a low-carb or gluten free diet), no MSG, low salt, no Aspartame, eat cayenne pepper in as much of your food as you handle (include curry as well), and the most important one - stay the hell away from city water! The chlorine in the water is VERY hard on your entire body, the heart more than the rest.

I had my first heart attack at the ripe old age of 24 after a pulmonary embolism at 23, then more heart attacks at 24, 25, 26 years old....very scary stuff, the doctors told me 'IF' I made 40 I would have been in for a double heart bypass, that was cheery news 😕

I am now 43 and never did end up with a DHB 🙂

So have you considered what to do in case aspirin isn't available?

What I have learned and applied over the years, and good to keep in mind in case of an emergency is... (and this only applies to DVT caused HA's)

Lemon is a natural blood thinner - Cut up a whole lemon, soak in a glass jug of clean water over night, drink the following day.
Garlic improves circulation - Crush garlic with a mortar and pestle, add a couple of tablespoons of clean water, let soak for a few minutes, rub mixture over both calves at night before bed, then wash legs clean in morning.
Liver detox is always helpful - The liver produces heparin, heparin thins your blood, if the liver isn't functioning properly then this can effect the production of heparin.

A couple of things I avoid to stay free of clots are normal table salt and chlorine, I find chlorine to be a massive problems with forming clots and I avoid it at all cost. When I travel and stay in areas with town water I sponge bath with bottled water and I NEVER swim in a chlorinated pool or I get clots within 3 days.

I haven't used aspirin for the past 18 years and have done liver detox's and now live pretty clean and free of threat of heart attacks 😀

Yes I know I may come under attack by some for using alternatives for such a serious condition and if you are tempted to criticize "DON'T"...I am still alive which is proof enough for me that it has worked and I am now in better health than in my 20's and I would hate to think I could have helped in a SHTF situation if western med was not available but remained silent to placate the critics 😎

I've been swallowing chlorella tablets for months. Has 19 of 20 amino acids the body needs. I was left wondering if it helped heal the damage as it was being made

Quite likely it would have helped 🙂
I have a heaped teaspoon of chlorella daily and a heaped teaspoon of zeolites...great stuff 😀
