i got nothing for the solar stove, but i can bring some nice clean hardwood 3/8 to 2 in thick 12 in long for the
rockets.IMHO i think we are going to need a 2 day meet for all the stuff 😆
I was thinking the same thing. But since not everyone will be interested in all of the things, maybe it will end up being broken up into smaller groups for some of it.
Plus there is always July 😀
I am new poster to the site but have browsed it for abit with out saying anything, It's cool to know there is like minded people out there with a wealth of invaluable information they are willing to share! I'm younger then most here and will admit my knowledge base is more limited then most, but i am eager to learn and document anything and everything i can to do with prepping! plus is always nice to meet new people! i will show up if work permits me, and more importantly if you accept me! if i can make it i will bring refreshments or finger foods of some kind! or both! 😀

The few things that you most likely should bring, if you have them are:
a chair - the folding kind are good. There may not be enough picnic tables
something for yourself go drink- no beer, wine that kind of thing
something to eat - for yourself but if you make, dry, -if you feel like bringing some go share
questions lol
if there is something that you would like to show - like a cook stove, hobo stove, really anything dealing with food
I think that's about it. Someone else may add more to the list.
I am a worrier so I tend to go over board. Must be the "scout" thing, always be prepared. 🙂
Ranger - if the box is 18 inches wide and long but over 18 inches tall, can it just be cut down? I should be getting a call tonight letting me know what size the boxes are that my ex can get.
I have made arrangements to be able to come, will be bringing the wife with me... Dont have much in the way of stuff to show off but I will bring something, maybe some dehydrated food or such to cook on one of your stoves Ranger...

That will be part of the process, since an angle has to be cut in the top of the box.

My ex told me the boxes are 18 by 18 by 21 inches tall
I will be working on the second (need to fund my preps somehow lol) and will not be able to make it, but... my parents have shown a slight interest into the prepping lifestyle and i wondered if they could come in my place? 😮 . They really don't have any preps or a super wealth of prepping type information, but i figure it would be a good learning experience for them, plus i want them hooked on it just like me so im not the only one doing this stuff! lol. Oh! and finally its always good to meet new people! 🙂
I dont have any say whether you can or can't, but I think that your parents and friends are welcomed as long as they are not the press or media.

Ok its 3 pm est just put the soon to be beef jerky in the dehydrator.
in 6 to 12 hours should have some nice jerky (have to check it every hour to flip it, but that's just me)
BIG prob is,( if it turns out nummy) is keeping me out of it till June 2 for you guys ❗

yeah my rents are far from the press or media lol I was talking to my dad about this meet being food based, but it is ok to bring or talk about stuff non food related? like medicine or stuff? just curious as my father knows some what of a cure all, which he himself used to beat his cancer the second time around, the doctor asked him if he was taking certain shots that costs around 5000$ a month, from what my dad said this costs about 36$ for a 10 year one person supply. supposed to be holistic from what i heard. Again just seeing if that would be ok, as i think it would be valuable info to pass on! oh yeah they also use it to CURE aids in Africa. So i guess if even one other person is interested it would be worth a talk! 🙂

You could just make another batch if you eat the first one 🙂

I must say I am surprised they agreed since you said they were not into prepping. If they are going for you, just remember no recording of the meet, no cameras etc.
