You need to post three messages on this forum to be able to PM or "private message" someone. If you look at the left hand side of someone's message, there is a PM icon there. Click on it to PM that person.

I'm so glad to see some locals on here. We're getting serious and thinking about teaming up to pool skills and resources. Curious what others think of the situation. No recent posts from locals...

I need to make some more posts before I can use the pm feature. Is anyone here a user of meetups.com? I'm curious how many people locally overlap the groups. I'm jot part of any other prepper groups, but I would really like to meet people. I think everyone would like to build some trust before making decisions, even though a lot of us feel a sense of urgency. I'm more interested in making a life than just "bugging out", though I understand people feeling that way. I believe in safety in numbers vs safety in isolation, that's just not how I want to live, so it would be awesome to get something organized. I think going into anything with a sense that is is going to be perfect is naive, but people need to work together whether they agree 100% of the time or not.

Anyway, glad to be here!
