there is a little link near the top it says "User control panel (1 new messages). view your posts.
if you click that "1 new message" you'll be taken to an in box where you have messages waiting.
when you send a message, it sits in your outbox until it's checked by the receiving party. i have 6 message in my outbox because people aren't checking their PM (private messages)!
check your messages, they could be important!
