ohhhh awesome! I haven't gotten my flyers yet! Will be watching for that one 😀

If you ever get missed by the flyer deliverer.... flyerland.ca has almost all the flyers available to view.

I'm the lady you're stuck behind in the grocery store with the over loaded cart filled with cases of tuna, peanut butter, huge bags of rice and the weary looking husband

If you need one, Cayne's in Thornhill has their FoodSaver vacuum sealers, bags, etc... on mega sale!
Here's a link:

They also have Lodge cast iron skillets on sale!

I'm thinking of bringing some Mylar bags to the June 2nd meet.
10" x 12" - 30 cents each
12" x 18" - 40 cents each.

Anyone want any?

I've recently started getting the daily emails from Mrs. January. It's been very worthwhile.

I'm going to wait till this brand of water goes on sale - it always does. We use bottled for the emergency kits in the vehicles.

I literally just joined this site and already it has paid off thank you 😀

Don't do that... too many additives,

go and get Methyl Hydrate, base ingredient in window cleaning fluid. (any Auto Parts Store, CDN Tire etc)

It is also called denatured alcohol in US, look for 85-90%
same as fondue fuel but no blue additive, and way cheaper, about $7 for gallon. If you can find a racing supply company they have 95-98% Methyl there.

Ok then!
Thanks for that tip! it is just good to know just in case! As prepped as we all can be or could be you never know what can happen or what we will have to do. I like to know as much as I can 🙂

I believe the methyl hydrate was what ranger was talking about at the meet last weekend! I will definitely be picking some up!
