I must say that I am a little disappointed with the amount of non response from everyone in the London area.
I can understand that you cannot attend the meeting with JustinK on Sunday due to whatever reason, but
one would think that if shtf that one would prefer to have someone to be there for them, or be able to offer
some assistance if need be. All I see on this site is people only worrying about themselves. Yes put your family first,
but if the shtf in reality. I do not know of any cultures that survived with just one person.
So I am throwing this out there.....
I have some knowledge to pass on, I am willing to work with others for mutual benefit, and I am serious about my
commitment to this. If there is anyone that would like to work as a group, has anything to offer a community, or is just
interested in learning from others to come forward and PM me.
I know that not everyone is at the same level of prepping, but that is diversity and we can all help each other out
and get everyone on an even keel.
Please dont roast me, telling me why you are going it alone. I understand your reasons. But I am a sincere person
that wants to work within a community and is wearing his heart on his sleeve.

I saw the post,
do not live in the area and thought it was too early in the morning as well as lots of people do the church thing.
Why not change the time to the afternoon, say 2 ish and hold the meet anyways. Then just make up a meeting twice a month, even if you only get a couple of people coming out regularly it would be a good outing. Sometimes, people just have stuff booked in advance, just make two meetings a month, on on say Fri the other on Sun as an example, then you will just get people to show up.

I am all cool with the meetings and so forth, but there has to be some communication as well.....
Well my buddy told people, the first Sat evening of every month @ 5pm
that was the message worked good for about 6 months for us, he shut his business down though, we had the meetings at his work place. No long messages, no long communications, just meeting first Sat of month @ my work.
We always had from 7-15 people show up, the model works good, try it.
Don't get discouraged about low attendance. The first meeting we had in Eastern Ontario it was just Farmgal, her hubby, and myself........
The next time there were about 15-20 of us......... Just don't give up. Even one like-minded person makes the world of difference!
I would have shown up, but I had just gotten off of a 12hr overnighter and was not in any shape to drive, or think coherently...sorry. :geek:

no worries ranger2012....I completely understand that you had to work...that is not my issue. Its even the lack of communication on these boards from people in the London area. I have been contacted by a few people interested in the idea of forming some sort reliance on each other and every time so far, I get the initial email or PM and that is it. They fall off the face of the earth. That is my frustration. I have no qualms with you ranger2012, as I know that we have had communication in the past.
So like JustinK I am gonna throw this out there.......if there is anyone interested in my idea in the London area....PM me with your interest.
