Seriously? Do we appear that stupid as a group that they thought they could sell that guy to us?
Gets into a car, drives off into the desert at night, has a shootout & noone get charged?? Is that representative of our community?
Am I the only one here that finds this show getting stranger & stranger by the minute?
I wasn't bothered by it.
They didn't say that nobody was getting charged. They said that due to conflicting "stories" by the parties involved, nobody had been charged "yet".
It's coming... and it's going to hurt!
I know 2 people who were on the show and from the camera angles, voice overs and the way the show was edited, they were made out to be nuts. They really aren't, their way of life was just made interesting for tv.
I am not condoning the behaviour and believe some of the people are a little batty (outright crazy) but, for the most part, some of these folks are very similar to us.
Most of the people seem normal. I just don't get going in the desert at night with people I don't know. There must have been an outstanding incentive to do so, feeling threatened enought to pack a 9mm handgun and going anyways.
That's the part I can't wrap my head around. Obv we don't have the full story.
