The point your missing is that the government and corperations that operate the fema camps are orchestraters of a shtf situation. They have made us to be "terrorists" with their laws. they will make it so we the people who live in a self sustaining way are considerd to be un wanted and against the "system" and we will be in the fema camps. they know who we are and why we do it and what we know all because of websites like this one, we are all on a list of people they watch and when it goes down they will be at our doors. We are the ones they see as potential problems in thier new system. your a smart guy read the news and look around on the net. Im no fool, i dont believe everything but when it walks like a duck and talks like a duck well you know the rest.

The system is failing and they know it. they dont care about preserving life, only the way they make profit. But now they have the ability to plan the change and have it unfold their way.

They have been working on the plan for longer then you have been alive. Do you know why Abraham lincon fought the civil war?...... not to free the slaves i can tell you that! why he was killed? look at reacent times with the bush election, you think he really won?.... after that what happened? im not going to type it out as i dont need them reading this post. but 911 was used as a reason to put laws and policys in place to make the fema camps and turn every day people into terrorists. we are slowly loosing our rights in the name of national security. We are not free, it will not get better and if it happens food will be the last thing on your mind. we are an uncontrolable population due to our overwhelming numbers, look for plans for the nwo and you will see. We live in what we think is Canada and the USA but there is only North America who leads that??? the shear ammount of under ground bunkers being built by the us right now will blow your mind not to mention the ammount of long term food they are scooping up. they run everything and we know only what they want us to, nothing. We are the cops looking for kyzer sozie and they are the guy with the bum leg we are interviewing.

PS the only civilisation that has yet to fold is the native americans, they would still be living the way of there four fathers were if it was not for us.

Of course every empire has declined and failed, it's the system itself that is flawed, and the system that fails. My point was that the people didn't turn on each other and turn it into Mad Max.
In Greece for instance, people can't afford much of the food in the supermarket and they're going hungry. They aren't going out to country to raid farms, they're going to buy food from the farmer himself with money or offering labor in exchange.
Guess what? Food costs 1/3 as much and the farmer gets more than he would have from the middlemen (system leaches).
They aren't gathering as armed bands to kill and steal. They are gathering as armed bands against those they're angry with, the government. The System.
Look everywhere, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia. How does the violence play out? Or rather against who?
.

Here is one post that I will happily be Wrong too, I hope your right and I hope I am wrong.
Of course that is speaking of the very worst case scenarios, mild ones, will see most everyone be polite and get along mostly, but if it is Realy Bad, a full system melt down, or EMP full grid down, all bets are off. So for that I hope YOU are right and I am wrong.

Way to go oldschool, you've done it again. You always come up with such great topics to get us thinking and helping each other. It's good to share info on technical matters such as plumbing, or gardening, etc., but I think it's crucial to know that we have emotional support as well.

Thank you. I used to run an on line group and found that "debate" type threads helped people get to know each other better. Although once in a while people would get a bit nasty but I always found that I learned a lot. People usually made comments for ideas I had not considered which is what happened here.

I had not considered all of this on a personal note nor on a historical note. 🙂

Maybe so, but throw a cold canadian winter into the mix and absolutely no food preperations leading to starvation and I truely cannot believe people will be calm and sane about acquiring food..just my two cents.

Me too :geek:

I didn't do it, I know where you're at...I'm there myself quite a lot. That's part of the reason why I went looking for info to give me something positive to do and to take my mind of my worries (and just look what I found - a goldmine of information and lots of wonderful people with such great advice and skills). I'm a fighter and I want to survive whatever comes my way (with those closest to me) and that's why I prep and learn as much as I can. Hang in there!

Thanks. I wish you were in Canada. I think a few of us ladies may band together. If you ever come for a visit...

Looks like you go to some fun parties! FYI - not many women can resist a man in a kilt (we know why the girls are on the floor!)
