Welcome to the group Grouchyprepper, It was good that you decide to join this network even after meeting us. It always benefits’ to have another point of view and wealth of experience.

Hi Al. I am very new here... this is my first post. I am VERY interested in finding out more about the group and chatting with anyone in my general area. I am in Haldimand County. I am interested and developing my preps. I have a number of skills that would benefit any group. I am in Healthcare. I hunt and fish and generally enjoy the outdoors. Also I am what you would call "handy" and mechanically inclined. I look forward to discussion and in time perhaps meeting some of you. Take care all and Cheers.

Welcome Justabear, after you have read most of the postings that have been put up, you will have a fair idea of what we're all about. We're not crazy, except to the skeptic’s and the "that will never happen" people or the people that say that it will never happen in our lifetime. Maybe they are right, but we "Preppers" are hedging our bets, incase it does happen. But like some families, there will always be an extremist or two, but that will be in the eyes of who ever see's them. Right Rambo, oop's sorry wrong group. 😉 "So Enjoy when you can, learn what you can, and teach if you can."

Thank you Ranger2012 and susannah755 for your greetings and kind words. I agree completely that there is a whole spectrum of involvement and attitude in this as with anything. That said it is up to each of us to do what we feel is right in a way that is best and possible....FOR US! If we can share and learn from others along the way as well as teach or share something in return then that is community. I believe that is what we are building here.
