Well I've been unsuccesful in finding a good camping/ hiking area that is private and free to use. Unfortunately, in my area so many landowners are having problems with atvs and dirtbikes tresspassing that they are very skeptical about allowing anyone access to their forested land anymore.
Has anyone else come up with any ideas?
Are we still getting together the first week of may sometime/somewhere?

The is the Pittock Conservation Area that will be open for camping in May. Looks to be about $50 for a non electric site with entry fee etc.. maybe a bit more. Just a thought
i have no problem to throw in 10 bucks if someone wants to rent a camping spot.
i will not be spending the night but i can help out money wise.

How about "Food, Fire and First Aid". Other than that, it would be," bring what you have that might interest others". I'm hoping to make some Irish soda bread, to bake in my solar oven. If no sunshine I'll try it on the modified rocketstove. If it rains, I wont be there.

combat arms .. we should just through on our rain gear, ponchos and work through it, but then again, we aren't 20 anymore so,, inside for coffee if it rains.
I will be coming to the area, another 1.5hr drive from Mississauga just for this by the way.
