Hi PK,

Great subject and I will do a full post with photos on it in regards to food and will link it back here, but the best one to start with that most folks love would be duck legs in duck fat but that is just not a typical thing for most folks to have so I will do it but also one for pork for you..

PS, No frills have (most likely ending today) 20 pds of russet potato's on for 2 dollars, I topped up my potato bin with a extra hundred pds, they are canadian spuds.

We've had ours since last fall and I literally just primed it this afternoon (removed the storage goo it comes with) because I have to fly north and wanted to bring a 'special' water bottle with me just in case.

Cooked, pureed and dehydrated 5 lbs of sweet potatoes....when the sweet potato "leather" was dry, I broke it up and buzzed it into a find powder with my little Braun coffee grinder. Got a pint jar of "instant" sweet potatoes now 🙂

First order of seeds came today. Getting ready for starting - I should have started seeds a week ago but it just doesn't feel right yet. Last year at this time I was putting tomatoes outside under makeshift cold frames.
Got an extra set of Berkey candles on sale and a few Berkey Sport bottles. One needs to go in the car kit. Each one will filter about 100 liters of ditch water or 500 of tap water.

Where did you get the 'cillins from Grouchy? Local vendor or online?

Also, the missus planted our first seeds for our first garden... if only the groundhogs hadn't lied!
