I noticed that, just cycling empty i dont always pull all the way back. Got a whole lot of oil in it, seems a little better, when I have more time I will see what it could be. Way sights you have on yours?

A good time to invest in spf3000 if you live on the NK penninsula.

Hey Logger
I have had some good results vacuum sealing meat with my food saver.
I even had a bunch of sausage done by butcher, I got him to leave all in one bag and separated and sealed my self.
So far still have a few packs from last year and it is not freezer burnt
Also some fish I smoked my self seems ok
Give it a shot
Mule

I haven't put sights on yet. I started with the foregrips to make the cycling easier. It also keeps my hand from sliding forward to the business end with the additional grip. Saving up for a Vortex Strikefire.

I have also used it to separate and seal different item groups in my BOB
1 First aid and toiletries pack up nice and keep clean
2 Saves a lot of room with winter clothes and sleeping bag items
3 I carry 3x24 hour meals ready to eat all sealed separate bags self packed
Sealed items for my caches as well
Did up toiletry bags for trade or long term
Truly multi tasking tool

I'll be picking up one of these next week. Always ready when you are. http://totalprepare.ca/product/sos-3600-calorie-food-bar-case-of-20/ They say 1 package is good for 3 days of meals(1200 calories/day). Don't believe it. When you're traveling, consider 1 package /day.

Did a Costco run so added canned and dried goods on the shelves. Also added 20L Kerosene, candles, matches and bandaids.

Bought a small Fenix flashlight and so far, I'm quite happy with it!

To use the 3600 cal SOS bar in your bug out bag you must ensure it is wrapped up
I have had to re package 1 already only 3-4 months old due to broken seal
It is a question of packaging not product IMO
