Come spend the day learning and sharing. You will have hands on experience: designing and planting a food forest and visit (close by) Whiffletree Farm and Nursery (Formerly Green Barn Elora). The presenters will also have perennial nursery stock for sale. Including perennial vegetables, nut and fruit trees
Presenters will include:
Martin Tamlyn. I will be hosting the event at our Straw-bale home and homestead where you will have chance to see the establishment of forest gardens, 4 seasons greenhouse, in-direct solar dehydrator, natural building and rocket mass heater.
Ben Caesar from Fiddlehead Permaculture nursery who specialize in understory forest garden plants. Designing forest gardens
Rob Johnson manager of the Green Legacy Tree Nursery and Terra Verde Farm and nut tree nursery. Growing nut trees.
Lowle and Lawrence Martin from Whiffletree farm and Nursery. Specializing in hardy fruit crops. Will share knowledge of all the exciting hardy varities of plants/ trees and shrubs available
