Prepare2prevail, can you post the link to that on-line documentary on tiny homes? Thanks
Great to hear more folks turned on by this movement.
I attended the tumbleweed workshop, and am soon going to acquire a variation of their design. It's partially built, and on one of their custom trailers from the u s.
I intend to finish it to my specs, and use it for a building home base on our forming community's land when we have enough shareholders .
One unique thing is that it is made of SIPS... structural insulated panels, with very little thermal bridging, and about R29 all around...more in the floor....4-season.
If you're interested, i could send some pics as it is currently.
Here's a whole page of inspiration! http://tinyhousepins.com/
As a prepper I would not want to live in a tiny home - the reality is that you need space somewhere for supplies however I think it's a great idea for a retreat property where you need space for other people to live if you have other structures for storage. I would like a few of these on our property for family when they come to visit - a self contained space with everything they need...and no one in my hair!! 🙂

Hi,
This is an area of concern which i have long considered, since it is a mobile option for ones' final residential space.
You simply have to invest in smaller 100sq'surrounding permit-free sheds to serve as your support structure. This is a very flexible and organizational benefit, provided that you are in a compliant zone. Even if you are not, it can be a temporary refuge, and repository of rolling stock or functional living domain, and you remain mobile! It may well be the demand of the public for reasonable change to the bylaws, eventually.
