Sometimes you don't even need the 51%. "Multi-party systems" and "first past the post" have pretty much ensured that the ruling party in the house of commons and in most provincial legislatures will have a majority of seats with a minority of the vote. Let's not even get started on the senate. Seems that our "democracy" is the best system money can buy. Once again I am reminded of George Orwell, "All animals are created equal; some animals are MORE equal than others."

Exactly Antsy...the best money can buy....that is why it will never be good for "we the people"
