.
Nope. Last camps that I know of were during WW11. Mind you, I could drive by one every day and just not notice 😳
Look at this site http://www.sianews.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1062 don't know if any of it is true or not.
While not a FEMA camp, there was a POW camp in Lethbridge during WW2. Many of those prisoners chose to stay in Canada after the war concluded. Perhaps closer the the FEMA camp idea are the towns and communities on the prairies and in the BC interior where the Japanese / Canadians were interned during the war. As I understand it, something similar was done in Eastern Canada with the Italian / Canadians. It's a sorry piece of Canadian history.
p.s. While in New Orleans a few years ago I saw a t-shirt in a shop on Bourbon Street which read, "FEMA - Fix Everything My Ass". I'm sorry I didn't buy it.
Needs must when the devil drives.
There's tons of camps in Alberta I know of 3 in southern Alberta
Preparedness is like a condom , I've rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it
