OK I had to post this here in the fringe. I was looking for an opportunity to present this disturbing topic and here it is. What are your opinions on the last episode of the 1st series? I know this is a less than stellar series with many issues but the twist at the end is something that we should all have considered. Vis-a -vis all those very well prepared well bunkered down government/corporate/ military types.
What will their reaction be when they venture forth from their bunker lairs? What inventory will they have at their disposal? What will be their agenda? Most importantly of all what will be the implications for us as survivors of whatever? ❓
I don't know what they will have at their disposal but their agenda would be the same as it is now, to contol the people.
The implications for us as survivors would be go along with government/corporate/ military types or band together to fight
them. After 15 years I don't think people would want to be controlled by the gov that let all this happen.
I tend to agree there is no way people would want to go back to the system that failed them. At the same time I am sure that the former PTB would see it in a different light. They would likely have far superior resources but their infrastructure for control would not be in place. In the end I think it might come down to numbers and degrees of organisation.
I have to admit, I watched the first ten minutes of the first episode, and thought "What a load of crap!"
So 15 years after the world 'comes to an end' you have this young bird walking around in full makeup, hair done to a 'T', wearing designer jeans....
No thanks. JJ Abrams 'science' always did suck. Look at the statistical and physical impossibilites he jammed into the Star Trek reboot! The man's a menace!

You forgot to add that she could not act if her life depended on it! 😆
