Evening,
So, another war in Africa. French troops battle Islamists Extremists in Mali. Canada is providing combat support by deploying a C-17 Tactical Cargo Aircraft to airlift supplies for our allies.
I guess time will tell if this will expand into anything larger than a regional conflict.

I will add my 2 cents.. I don't see this as a "war"...only another battle in the greater war between East and West. During the Cold War the ideology was... "we can fight them over there or we can fight them here".. I believe this to be the same idea... different enemy.
