January meeting and your Agenda....I was very impressed to see so many new faces at our last meeting, as Dangphool said we started in a parking lot with six of us ,who made three laps each to see if there were any other preppers there....[ what exactly a prepper looks like I still have know idea ]... [ But we were looking ]....Anyway, I will set a date in the near future for January and we will do this again. But you as the attendee's; need to post what you want to talk about and I will do my best at getting experts and speakers to be there..
So time for you to chime in, and also this will give the folks with a bit of driving time to maybe arrange a car pool so they too may attend.... The meeting will be held at the same comunity center as the last one... Deer Run Community center at " 2223 146 Ave SE Calgary"

I would like to talk more about "pods" ,BOV's for everyday use.
I would also LOVE a conversation about at home medical kits for a,b,c scenarios, what should/shouldn't we stock up on and Where in Calgary we can get the best prices for supplies.
Can we also have a break in the middle of the meeting to streach our legs and mingle a little bit? I had no idea how long the meeting would go, Maybe a schedual of topics and a time frame would be helpful. We could do a little bit of a pot luck as well? I could see this being a half day event easily!
Glad to see the meeting was a sucess. With so many like minded people there was never any doubt. Unfortunately work prevented me from attending once again. If I am in country for the next meeting I would be glad to speak about building and construction. I do not have much experience with everyday BOV's but if anyone is interested I can talk about my experience building a Suzuki Sidekick with VW 1.6TD diesel engine. Two wires and you are off to the races!
